Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects both children and adults, impacting focus, organization, and impulse control. According to the CDC, ADHD affects approximately 9.8% of children and 4.4% of adults in the U.S., yet many cases remain undiagnosed or misdiagnosed.

A thorough evaluation is crucial for distinguishing ADHD from other conditions that may mimic its symptoms, such as anxiety, learning disabilities, or sleep disorders.

Our approach includes a detailed medical and behavioral history, validated screening tools, and an FDA-cleared, objective computer-based test to ensure accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment recommendations.

About the Evaluation

Doctor with young patient

Your first visit will include a comprehensive evaluation of medical and behavioral history, as well as school performance. Several objective screening tools will be completed during the appointment. For children, additional questionnaires will be provided for teachers to complete, ensuring a well-rounded assessment for accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment planning.

Patients will receive a voucher to complete an FDA-cleared, computer-based assessment that objectively measures attention, activity, and impulsivity. This test can be taken at home or in the clinic, providing valuable data to support an accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment plan.

Once all data is collected and analyzed, patients will have a follow-up appointment to discuss findings and personalized recommendations. A comprehensive written report will be provided, which can be shared with a primary care physician, school, or employer to support necessary accommodations and treatment planning.

If your evaluation confirms ADHD and you’re seeking long-term treatment and support, we welcome you to join our Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice. As a member, you’ll receive personalized care, ongoing management, and direct access to your physician to help you navigate ADHD with the support you deserve.
