  • What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a revolutionary approach to healthcare that prioritizes the patient and revitalizes the patient-doctor relationship. This approach offers timely care, unrushed appointments, and individualized treatment plans tailored to your needs. For a low monthly fee, you receive unlimited, conveniently scheduled office visits without any copays and have direct access to your doctor via phone, text, email, video, or a secure patient portal. Experience extended, unhurried visits and benefit from discounts on labs, pathology, and imaging services—all without relying on insurance. We eliminate the barriers of traditional health insurance to provide affordable, personalized care like no other. Your Health, Your Doctor, Your Way!
  • Does membership replace insurance?
While primary care physicians can handle over 90% of a patient’s healthcare needs, DPC is not a replacement for insurance. I recommend at minimum having a catastrophic policy that will cover you should you need to be hospitalized or have surgery. I understand that having health insurance is not an affordable option for everyone, and that is where DPC comes in. Monthly membership is much cheaper than most employer-sponsored plans and plans available on the marketplace. Many DPC patients couple their membership with a low-cost catastrophic plan, a high-deductible health plan, or a health share organization. Because the DPC model allows me to have more time with my patients, I would be glad to sit down and discuss your individual healthcare needs and help you weigh your options.
  • Can you see patients who have Medicaid?
Kentucky law prohibits any DPC clinics from providing care for patients with Medicaid. I know how the traditional healthcare system works and how hard it can be to find consistent, quality, and timely care. Kentucky is one of only two states that have these restrictions, and I am actively working to advocate for change. For now, unfortunately, I am unable to see patients who have Medicaid, but feel free to check back in the future to see if the DPC doctors of Kentucky have been successful in their advocacy efforts.
  • Can you see patients who have Medicare?
Medicare is complicated because it is regulated by the federal government. Currently, because of these regulations, I am not able to see patients who have Medicare or are eligible for Medicare. But as my practice grows, I will be able to offer these services in the future. If you have Medicare and would like to be a patient, please click the link below to let me know your interest. I will reach out to you as soon as I can enroll Medicare-eligible patients.
